Dedication of Our Lady of Belen Chapel

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School celebrates the completion of the Our Lady of Belen Chapel! The Chapel sits on the southeast corner of the property, right at the entrance, and is the first structure that greets all visitors, particularly the students. The Chapel can sit 600 individuals and will be the focal point of the faith life of the student body. This Sunday, May 1, 2022, during the month of Our Lady, the Chapel will be dedicated to Our Lady. The ceremony will commence at 2:00 p.m.

Light and Darkness | Homily

Our lives are filled with highs and lows. Moments of consolation, where we feel at peace with God, and moments of desolation, where we do not. In this homily, Fr. Christian speaks to us about these times in our lives and how we must always look to Christ, who is the light of the world.

Visiting Fr. Amando Llorente's Resting Place

A group of Agrupados are planning a visit to Fr. Llorente’s grave on the anniversary of his passing. It will be this week on Thursday, April 28th at 11:00 AM at the Catholic Cemetery in Doral.

There is also a plan to enjoy lunch afterward at a nearby Spanish restaurant.

Recognizing Christ | Homily

Fr. Christian speaks to us about how we can find our Lord in our day to day lives. Many times we may overlook the moments where the Lord is present, and then we ask for the Lord to show himself. Let us realize the times in our lives when the Lord is there.

Esto Vir Group

Last Tuesday, April 12, 2022, two members of the Esto Vir Group, Alexander Sanchez (pictured left) and Lucas Jimenez (pictured right), both Juniors at Belen Jesuit, assembled the adirondack chairs that were placed in front of the statue of Our Lady. Lucas Jimenez led the Esto Vir Group in a presentation on the Shroud of Turin later that evening during the Group's final meeting before Easter.

Suffering with Christ | Homily

Friend of the ACU, Fr. David Lugo, SJ speaks to us about sharing in Christ's suffering. He tells us that we should aim to be as close to the heart of Christ as possible, and to do that, we should ask to feel the pain that Christ felt on the cross.
