Earlier this month on Nov 7th Dr. Carlos Moas presented to the Catholic Young Professionals (CYP) on the importance of "silence" in a professional setting. Dr. Moas borrowed from the works of His Eminence Robert Sarah (Cardinal and retired prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship), Saint Ignatius of Loyola, and other scholarly sources to show how necessary silence is in both our professional and personal lives.
Javier Salman discussed with the University of Miami student group the Catholic moral teaching with regard to the use of nuclear weapons. His presentation focused on the United States’ use of such weapons in Japan during World War II.
