Recommendations to the ACU Board

The following is a message from Maestro of the ACU, Jesus Leon.

The ACU Assembly Committee has been working since early January to complete the goal of the 2021 ACU Assembly: "The output of the assembly should be a ten-year strategic plan for the ACU with clear priorities.”

We continue to make good progress in this task. The agrupados attending the Assembly identified 49 “headline ideas” for the ACU to consider in preparing the plan for the future. The Assembly Committee started with these ideas and identified three strategic priorities that will incorporate the gist of the recommendations. We have started the process of identifying a short list of goals with measurable milestones. The steps to achieve the final recommendations have been and continue to be grueling but we are persevering. I am convinced that we will have an excellent set of recommendations completed before the next ACU Board meeting.
