Esto Vir Group

The Esto Vir Group met last Tuesday evening on ZOOM. The group held a fruitful discussion on the Social Doctrine of the Catholic Church. The 7 main themes were identified and applied to high profile issues facing our society at the moment such as racism and social justice. We also addressed the USCCB statement entitled Open Wide Our Hearts as well as Fr. Arrupe's 1973 speech Men for Others. The group was challenged to see every citizen as a child of God first and respect the dignity of the human person while keeping their emotions and passions in check.
