Contemporary Manifestations of the Mind-Body Problem

At a recent Sunday meeting of the University of Miami student group, Erik Vieira made a presentation titled Contemporary Manifestations of the Mind-Body Problem. He drew from the Catholic Church's tradition, including the work of St. Thomas Aquinas and Aristotle who dealt with the concept of the unity of body and spirit. Erik then fast-forwarded to today and discussed how modern ideas of gender identity conflict with established principles.
