At a recent meeting, Joe Rasco introduced the topic of Discernment of Spirits to the new students. The talk served as a refresher for returning students familiar with the concepts of consolation, desolation, and rules for decision making.
This semester the students selected a book to review titled Heroic Leadership, Best Practices From a 450-year-old Company That Changed The World. The book, written by Chris Lowney, a former Jesuit seminarian, chronicles the Jesuit order’s unique values which may be summarized into four categories: self-awareness, ingenuity, love, and heroism.
