ACU University of Miami Student Group

The student group was able to meet at St. Augustine last Sunday with the usual additional Zoom option for those not able to attend in person.  The prior meeting had to be held only virtually because of a recent COVID outbreak at the university.

Father Richard Vigoa stopped by and gave the students some words of encouragement.   Father Phillip Tran, who accompanies the group each Sunday, provided some details about a housing opportunity that has just become available for some ACU Postulants and Aspirants to live in community in the fall. 

The main focus of the meeting was the meditation on the "Three Classes of Men" from the Spiritual Excercises, or as most of us would remember in Spanish as "Los Tres Binarios".

At tomorrow's regular Wednesday Guardia, God willing, we will have David Pernia, an FIU student, make his Aspirant promise.

If we are able to navigate the current COVID restrictions, hopefully some University of Miami students may be able to make their Aspirant promise the following Wednesday, March 3rd, also during our regular Wednesday Guardia.
