The ACU, a Marian Sodality. At the last meeting, Alfonso Ledo explained why the ACU has remained a Marian Sodality. He compared and contrasted the ACU to Christian Life Communities.
Al, who is an architect, has begun to mentor a new student who is majoring in architecture. The students are paired with ACU mentors by area of concentration.
The semester will be ending shortly, but the learning will not stop while the students are home for Christmas break. They were assigned two books to read: Praying the Truth, Deepening Your Friendship with God Through Honest Payer by William Barry, S.J. and A Simple Life-Changing Prayer, Discovering the Power of St. Ignatius Loyola’s Examen by Jim Manney. The ten that will become Congregants at the 90th Anniversary Mass next month will be reading, in addition, With God In Russia, The Inspiring Classic Account of a Catholic Priest’s Twenty-Three Years in Soviet Prisons and Labor Camps by Walter Ciszik, S.J.
