Peter Lagonowicz, J.D., L.L.M. from the law firm of Shutts & Bowen recently spoke to the students about the value of a great relationship with your mentor. His mentor was Raul Salas, J.D. (son of Frank Salas, P.E.) who passed away of cancer last year at the early age of 63. Peter shared some of the wisdom he received from Raul.
Peter also presented on the Ignatian rules of discernment. Specifically, annotation number 325 of the Spiritual Exercises (pushing back against temptations), 326 (discussing with someone our experience of desolation), and 327 (guarding against our vulnerabilities).
