Unite in Prayer: The Building Collapse at Surfside

Many of us are aware of the tragedy that struck in Surfside, Florida on June 24, 2021, with the partial collapse of the Champlain Towers South condominium. The tragedy touched the lives of many in South Florida and family and friends nationwide. Some Agrupados and members of the Jesuit community were directly affected. We ask that all Chapters, during their weekly Guardia, whether at Mass or prayer, remember those that lost their lives and also those family members that mourn. Let us unite in prayer that the Lord bring consolation, peace, and understanding during this time. Specifically, let us remember the following:

Rose Maria Maza Saez, the mother of Carlos Saez and the sister of Fr. Manolo Maza, S.J.

Raymon and Mercy Urgelles
