Annual Summer Meeting of the National Board

This past weekend, the National Board of the Agrupacion Catolica Universitaria, Inc., held its annual summer meeting at the ACU House. The Board Members listened to status reports from Committees, Commissions, and Apostolates making decisions where appropriate to proceed with the Mission of the Agrupacion.

Our Director, Fr. Saenz set out the theme for the meeting on Friday night; he challenged the Board Members to see past any fear that may be setting in as the pandemic continues. While we must proceed with caution to protect the safety and health of one another, we cannot, as an organization, allow fear to set in and paralyze our efforts. He lauded the efforts of all Chapters in adapting to the needs of the current situations whether through a virtual platform, social distancing or other safety measures.

The Board listened to the efforts of the Chapter presidents and Apostolate leaders to move forward with the Mission. It was evident that the ACU continues to grow, especially in its effort to evangelize the youth. Our National president, Luis Sanchez, urged all Chapter presidents to set their sights on the youth. Our activities and spending should reflect a focus toward evangelizing the youth.
