University of Miami Student Group

Finding God in All Things was the theme of the presentation made by Carlos Moas, M.D. at a recent meeting of the student group.  The talk was based on a reflection by Bishop Robert Barron and it also included some personal experiences from Carlos’ life.

It was pointed out at the meeting that Carlos was one of several Congregants that were instrumental in making sure that Mercy Hospital would continue to uphold Catholic values after its sale in 2010.  Carlos served as the hospital’s Chief of Staff when the negotiations for its sale took place.
