At last Sunday’s meeting, Manny Anton, M.D. made a compelling presentation on the Rosary.  He went over its history, how it’s the preferred devotion to our Blessed Mother, and how the Rosary has evolved over the centuries, the last addition being the Luminous Mysteries proclaimed by Saint Pope John Paul II.

He also spoke to the students about an extraordinary event that involved several Agrupados, which was the sale of Mercy Hospital in 2011.   The Agrupados in leadership positions, including Manny, who was the CEO of the hospital at the time, made it a condition of the sale that Mercy would continue to abide the Ethical and Religious Directives of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops.
