Immaculada Celebration: General Meeting of Members on Saturday, December 5, 2020

This past Saturday, December 5, 2020, approximately 55 Agrupados gathered at the ACU House for the annual general meeting of members, Pase mass, and lunch. Our Director, Fr. Christian A. Saenz, SJ began the day with an inspiring message of hope and renewal pointing out the growth of the ACU despite societal restrictions due primarily to the dedication of the Agrupados to the mission. We then proceed through a series of updates about the activities of the ACU over the past year, especially how we have adapted to the current societal restrictions created by the pandemic. All Agrupados wore masks and practiced social distancing. We were able to utilize the Library and patio as overflow. Updates were also given on the Board actions from Friday. We were especially pleased to receive a visit from our new Provincial, Fr. Martin Lenk, SJ. who introduced himself and shared about his vocation and work with the Jesuits. Fr. Saenz then celebrated Mass in which the Agrupados renewed their consecration. Finally, we completed the day with lunch on the ACU patio.
