Esto Vir Group

Last week, the Esto Vir Group met at the ACU House for their weekly meeting. The Group once again held a successful hybrid meeting to incorporate virtual members. The Group discussed the meaning of the Ascension and Pentecost utilizing the historical context of the Jewish harvest celebration, the fulfillment of Old Testament promises, and the birth that sprung as a result of Jesus' ascension to Heaven and the descent of the Holy Spirit. The Group also discussed the symbolism of the 40 days, the tongues of fire, the use of languages. The presentation was led by Lucas Jimenez, a junior at Belen.
