Esto Vir Alumus Fundraising Campaign
My name is Felipe Pardo, I am a member of the 2018 graduating class of Belen and a founding member of the Esto Vir Group at Belen. I was one part of the first group of men to be consecrated into the Esto Vir sodality at Belen. My connection to the ACU begins with my grandfather, Nestor Machado, who was a good friend of Fr. Llorente. I was baptized by Fr. Llorente, as were my siblings, and some of my other family members.
Esto Vir and ACU have helped me find a place in Miami where I am challenged to explore my own faith. At ACU I always know I can share a meal, engage in great conversation and praise the Lord with a group of guys that share my beliefs and values. I am excited to work in Miami after my college graduation and look forward to participating in more ACU events with all of you.
This year, I have been selected to run in the 126th Boston Marathon in support of the Red Sox Foundation. With my time in Boston coming to a close, I wanted to take the opportunity to give back to a community that’s taught me so much before I graduate from Boston College in the spring. The Red Sox Foundation's core partnerships focus on improving the lives of Boston's underprivileged youth, their families, and their health. In addition to that, the foundation is also focused on spreading the game of baseball among underprivileged kids in the community! I am running with a fundraising goal of $10,000 that I believe will continue to support the foundation’s work in improving the lives of so many, especially during these difficult times. I would really appreciate any support, no matter the size. I am excited to keep you all updated on the marathon and my training.
Thank you so much again for always supporting me. Below is my fundraising link. See you soon at an ACU meeting!
