Chapter President Spotlight: Cesar Guerrero
Dear Agrupados:
My name is César A. Guerrero, for those of you that I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting.
I was born in Dominican Rep. where I did high school at La Salle (1972), and my undergraduate in Electro Mechanic Engineer at Pontifícia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (1977) latter continuing to University of Miami for an MBA in International Business (1984) and as recent as last month I graduated from FIU with another MBA this time in Logistic and Supply Chain Management.
I worked for several American Corporations between 1978 and 1991, including DuPont, Sybron, Uniroyal and GE, in their Latin American Departments, starting as a service tech ending as a GE Area Manager, later I decided to build my own business, creating a Medical Distribution Company of Capital Equipment in Dominican Rep.
After 25 years I sold my company in D.R. and entered the service industry in the Domestic Medical field working for a Management & Medical Billing Company co-owned with my wife of 35 years Carla.
I have been an Agrupado since 2005, in the past I have been a Board member and Ex-Com member representing the Miami house and member of the Financial Committee. In December of 2020 I was asked to become President of the Miami House.
Although I have been participating in the Catholic Church all my life, helping my parish Mother of Christ, and my 2nd parish St. Joseph in Miami Beach as well as Camino del matrimonio, the Ignatian Spirituality challenged me since my teens. In Miami I found friends that brought me to ACU and after more than 10 years of regular exercises Fr. Llorente asked me to become an Agrupado.
I hope you all will help me perform my duties the in the wisest manner.
