Catholic Young Professionals
This month, the Miami Catholic Young Professionals ministry executed its second, small group forum initiative focused on specific professions and fields of work. Congregante Tony Gonzalez and his wife, Bobbie Gonzalez, let the CYP Small Business/Entrepreneurship small group forum. The Gonzalez' founded the Perfect Haircare, a small business focused on beauty products, while working full time and raising three children. They shared their experience and offered tips to the young adult community. The Gonzalez' were joined by Carolina Rodriguez, one of the young adult leaders, that is a marketing professional. Additionally, young adults leaders led the following professional forums:
Education with Leslie Zapiain discussing adaptations and innovations in education in response to the pandemic
Art & Entertainment with Hellen Rivas discussion how art should invite us to contemplate truth, good, and beauty
Data Sciences with Tomas Cacicedo discussing the role of statistics and prediction in the marketplace
As this initiative solidifies, we will continue to draw from the witnesses of Agrupados and their spouses to guide these small group forums.
