Apostolate Opportunity

Many of you may already be aware that the Our Lady of Belen Chapel has been booked for numerous weddings well into 2023. Those engaged couples need to complete the Fully Engaged marriage preparation course that is offered in the Archdiocese.

Fr. Willie will be offering the Fully Engaged series through Belen and has asked for the assistance of ACU Couples to mentor the young engaged couples.

Some of you may be aware of the fully engaged program. The core of that program is a brief mentorship of the engaged couple. The engaged couple completes a questionnaire and then the mentors meet with the couple to review the responses, discuss the sacrament of marriage, and offer advice and insight.

The commitment is the following:

One orientation class in the near future to become familiar with the program.

Thereafter, each mentor couple will be assigned an engaged couple. Each mentor couple can meet with as many engaged couples as their schedule permits. The minimum ask is to meet with one engaged couple a year. The Mentorship entails an average of three face-to-face meetings.
