Annual Atlanta Pig Roast
The ACU Atlanta celebrated its Annual Pig Roast after a hiatus of one year. It was a great opportunity for the ACU Atlanta family to come together and share in community. Father Christian celebrated Mass that united us as a community and brought our "Jefe y Maestro” to preside over the pig roast. We had great weather and excellent food: roasted pig, black beans & rice, yuca, salad, bread, munchies, beer, wine, and dessert. As is the ACU Atlanta tradition, the pig roasting team was made up of the young agrupados. This year the group included two ACU Postulants from Miami (Marco Barbosa and Nicolas Muñiz), a new GT (ex Belén) Jacob Wutzler and three young Atlanta agrupados. Our ACU President, Luis Sánchez, was with us and shared with the participants about the national ACU and the upcoming 90th Anniversary celebration. The facility was excellent making it easy to share among the extended family that is the Agrupación. We had 56 participants join us for the celebration.
We had a great time enjoying the food, the weather and the very close friends. We are very thankful that God facilitated this very special get together.
