Agrupados in Bimini: A Serendipitous Opportunity
Luis Sanchez, A.C.U. President, invited Agrupado, Fr. Guisseppe Siniscalchi, to celebrate mass at the A.C.U. Guardia. Alex Placensia and his sons invited Fr. Guisseppe to Bimini for a weekend excursion. Congregantes Carlos Interián, and Willy Cueto and Marty Perez with their sons also joined the trip. While there, Fr. Giusseppe celebrated mass at the Holy Name Parish. During the mass, it was revealed by the parish Deacon that it was the first time in almost two years that a priest had celebrated mass at the church. The Deacon explained to the parishioners that the mass is the source and summit of our Catholic faith. The entire parish was grateful for the opportunity to participate in mass and receive the Eucharist. Fr. Giusseppe consecrated extra hosts for the parish because they were unsure of when another priest would be able to visit.
