Esto Vir Group

Last Tuesday, May 4, 2021, members of the Esto Vir Group gathered for their weekly meeting. We hosted an alumni member Marco Barbosa, who is now a member of the UM Men's Honor Society. Marco spoke to the group about the teachings of Saint John Paul II in Redemptoris Hominis. He stressed the need to strive for a balance between pride and timidity, which reflects the oft repeated motto: pray as though everything depends on God, but work as though everything depends on you. The group also reflected on Christ's ability to meet each person authentically, never compromising the truth, but also respecting free will.
