2022 Camino Ignaciano

The Jesuit family has begun celebrating the 500 years of the conversion of San Ignacio de Loyola by announcing an Año Santo from May 2021 until Sunday, July 31, 2022. The group of caminantes from the 2016 Camino Ignaciano are planning to walk again. We plan to meet in Loyola, the birthplace of St. Ignatius, on July 22, 2022, and arrive in Manresa on July 30 & 31, 2022, the weekend of the Feast of St. Ignatius. As an optional Pre-Camino activity, we plan to visit Mansilla Mayor, the birthplace of Fr. Amando Llorente, S.J., on July 20 & 21, 2022. Mansilla Mayor is a small town between Leon and Loyola. Efrain Zabala, Carlos Muñiz and Ignacio Abella are ACU members who are planning to participate in the Camino and the Pre-Camino visit to Mansilla Mayor.
